A transplant centers' ability to understand and forecast patient and graft survival trends is a key component of a program's success. Is the risk adjustment model your " friend or foe"? This information session will provide you with a better understanding of recipient and donor variables and how this may impact a program's expected outcomes.

- Explain the OPTN (Bayesian methodology) and CMS flagging criteria to evaluate a transplant center's performance.
- Describe the two key performance outcome measures in transplantation.
- Describe the SRTR risk adjustment model and its linkage to UNET forms and documentation.
- Describe how to utilize the risk adjustment model and data tables to forecast transplant center survival rates.
