Andrea Tietjen

Andrea Tietjen is the Director of Transplant Data and Finance of Barnabas Health. Since 1999 she has managed all transplant finance, data and quality activities, including financial and operational reports, billing, regulatory compliance, contracting, budget preparation, and research funding.  She is a member of various organizations in her field and serves on committees including the National Kidney Registry Finance Board and the UNOS Kidney Paired Donation Financial Subcommittee.  She received her B.A. from Douglass College, a B.S. from Upsala College, an M.B.A. from Regis University and a Six Sigma Green Belt from Purdue University. She has served as an Adjunct Instructor in Accounting since 1996 for graduate and undergraduate students. She is also a State of NJ Registered Certified Public Accountant.  Ms. Tietjen is also the author/co-author of nearly 50 publications, presentations, and papers in her field.


Marie Morgievich, APN


Joining Saint Barnabas in 2003, Ms. Morgievich oversees patient-care and clinical aspects as well as administrative responsibilities related to the Division's  Pre and Post- Transplant Departments, the Transplant Short Stay Unit and Living Donor Institute.  The Living Donor Institute offers paired exchange, compatible share, altruistic donation and a program for incompatible transplant. Ms. Morgievich serves on the medical board of the National Kidney Registry, as well as other national committees pertaining to living donation. She also publishes and presents nationally on topics related to living donation. Ms. Morgievich, a Transplant Nurse Practitioner, completed her master of science in nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing, New York, and her bachelor of science in nursing at Seton Hall University, New Jersey. She also holds a business degree from Montclair State University
