Kidney Allocation System (KAS) after 18 Months

  

Mark Aeder, MD

Associate Professor of Surgery, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. 

Dr. Aeder is a transplant surgeon and the current Chair of the OPTN Kidney Committee. For over 25 years he has been involved in leading kidney transplnat programs and has served on multiple OPTN/UNOS and ASTS committees. For the past 8 years, he has been a member of the Kidney Committee, the last 2 as Chair and has been closely involved in the development and implementation of KAS.


 

Amber R Wilk, PhD

Research Analyst, United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). 

Amber Wilk has worked as a biostatistician in the UNOS Research Department since 2014, and previously worked as a statistical consultant. Amber currently serves as the UNOS Research Department liaison to the OPTN Kidney Committee, providing data analyses and interpretation to help guide transplant policy, and has previously supported the OPTN Minority Affairs and OPTN Ad Hoc Disease Transmission Advisory Committees.
