Finding Calm in the Storm

Michelle A. Post, MA, LMFT

Michelle has been a licensed Marriage and Family therapist with a private practice in Los Angeles, consultant, and continued education provider since 2003.  Prior to that she worked with Intercollegiate Athletes at UCLA, and later with patients suffering from Chronic Pain.  She joined OneLegacy (the Southern California organ, eye and tissue donation agency) as a member of their Donor Family Aftercare team over 9 years ago.  She became manager of the department in December 2013 and helped start a company-wide leadership development initiative and staff-morale OneLegacy Cup initiative.  She is proud to be mentored by J. William Worden in his peer supervision group of bereavement specialists.  She has served on several national boards. Internationally she speaks and trains others on grief and bereavement, death notification, leadership development, and her favorite topic – burn-out prevention and self-care.  She speaks, teaches, blogs, works, volunteers, and has a hearty self-care plan including a strong social network of friends and families because she doesn’t just teach self-care, she practices it.
