Psychological Needs of the Transplant Recipient

  

 
Evonne David, MSW, LCSW is a nationally recognized transplant professional.  She began her transplant career in 2004 at Stanford University Medical Center after earning a B.A. in Social Work from San Francisco State University and her Master of Social Welfare degree from the University of California at Berkeley.  As a transplant social worker, she has served both the adult and pediatric recipient populations. Evonne wears many hats in the field of transplantation.  Besides her current role as the living donor transplant social worker with Stanford Children’s Health renal team, she is: a member of the CMS Transplant Technical Expert Panel; a psychotherapist in private practice specializing in the treatment of all solid organ transplant patients and their support persons; a consultant as an independent peer review team member having reviewed over 20 programs nationally; a published author;  co-creator of the Stanford Integrated Psychosocial Assessment for Transplantation; and a guest lecturer is the School of Medicine at Stanford University.  Ms. David is dedicated to the improvement of patient outcomes through the care of a truly multi-disciplinary team approach.
