The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Matrix is an easy and effective way to instantly engage people in the process of learning to accept uncomfortable inner experiences, do committed actions, and learn what works for valued living. Attendees will learn why the diagram works so well at introducing psychological flexibility across a variety of settings and populations. Dr. Polk will demonstrate how to immediately start using the diagram and how to apply it in individual, couples, and group work.

Kevin Polk, PhD, is a psychological flexibility expert and principal creator of the ACT Matrix which is now used throughout the world in households, businesses, classrooms, and hospitals. He began his career in psychodynamic training, followed by training in family systems and cognitive behavioral therapy. He has been practicing ACT since 2004.  You can read more about Dr. Polk at www.drkevinpolk.com
