Earn Knowledge or Credit Toward Your CWDP Certification or Recertification

Are you working toward your Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) credential? The Innovate. Elevate. Accelerate. The Future of Workforce Development conference offers sessions that align with the five core CWDP competencies, making it the perfect opportunity to gain knowledge in areas relevant to certification and earn professional development credit toward recertification.

The CWDP, developed by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP), recognizes professionals who demonstrate excellence in:

  • Customer Service Methodology
  • Diversity in Workforce Development
  • Labor Market Information and Intelligence
  • Principles of Communication
  • Workforce Development Structure, Policies, and Programs

How the WWA Conference Helps You Qualify

By attending relevant workshops and breakout sessions, you can:

  • Gain competency knowledge in the five CWDP areas.
  • Connect with peers and experts who can help guide your certification journey.
  • Count WWA sessions toward professional development training hours needed for recertification.

Pro Tips: Keep a record of the WWA sessions you attend and any materials you receive; these will be valuable when completing your CWDP recertification application.

Recertifying CWDPs may self-attest professional development sessions in the recertification application, showing alignment to the CWDP Five Core Competencies. Each session must be entered separately.
