"As a stylist first and foremost, I always wanted to be able to do anybody's hair that walked through the door. If I didn't know how, I immediately found somebody to learn from," says Alannah. Her passion lies in equipping stylists with the fundamental skills and understanding of hair color, ensuring they can confidently service clients of all hair textures. This commitment has solidified Ella&Jade'sreputation as the go-to salon for clients on their hair journey.

Alannah's unique ability to transform her clients' looks through distinctive color palettes and styles tailored to their skin tone has been key to the salon's success. "Color for Everyone" encapsulates her philosophy: inclusivity, individuality, iconicity, and authenticity.

Bringing her contagious passion for “effortless hot girl hair”, on trend vibes, lived in colours and hands-on content creation. Amanda tailors her classes to best fit each salon that she works with.

International accolades have followed her national success, with Amanda crowned Global Avant Garde Stylist of the year 2023 in Chicago at the Kao Salon Global Creative Awards. A stunning career highlight, Amanda is the first Australian to have ever won this prestigious global award.

As a highly skilled, all-round stylist, her knowledge of colour and cutting is translated in a creative and functional way, while embracing the perspective of life from a busy salon floor. In recent years, Ali has been finalist for NSW Hairdresser of the Year, Emerging Stylist and led her team to many a finalist positions for Salon Team of the Year. The accolade Ali is most proud of, was when she was awarded Business Owner of the Year in 2020.

As a KMS National Artist Ali’s passion lies in education and sharing the understanding of structural layering techniques and learning where to use them. Ali’s strength is in the detail, personalizing every cut to make the most out of your client’s beautiful features.

In the salon, Piet lives and breathes education and as a KMS National Artist he loves working with the latest creative techniques inspired by shoots, shows and seminars. As a fully booked stylist Piet’s goal is to always enhance the best features of the client in the chair. Through structural layering techniques and paying close attention to face shape, he takes his job, to find every client’s unique angle of beauty seriously.

Piet’s career highlights extend beyond the salon, having worked with world class brands through education, fashion and media. With over 15 years' experience as a hair director, Piet’s passion has seen him create numerous campaign shoots and look books.

With his remarkable back-to-back victories and an ever-growing list of satisfied clients, Nathan is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the hairdressing industry. His wins are a testament to his focus, determination and creative vision both inside and outside his popular and highly regarded Neutral Bay salon -Salon Yazbek.

Growing up in the Inner West of Sydney, Nathan loved getting his hair cut at the local Five Dock salon. When he was offered the role of Saturday boy, he decided it was a big step up from working the checkout at the local Target and his dream career commenced. From here Nathan continued on at a large salon on Sydney's north shore also completing a diploma in Salon Management. Whilst travelling the Middle East for 6 months Nathan was more than ever inspired to open his own salon, and with that Salon Yazbek was born in 2010.

COV’s heart, body and fingers all came from Yoav. Founder, chief stylist and colorist extraordinaire, Yoav has been working with hair since he was a sixteen-year-old street kid from the South of France. He has managed to single handily create a hair nirvana; combining French funk and his own unique edge, in each and everyone of his colors and cuts. For him, it’s about keeping stuff simple, just un-done enough, the magic lying in the details.

At COV, Yoav and his team pursue the un-done, endlessly seeking out new innovation and forms of creativity. They understand hair to be so much more than silent follicles waiting to be snipped, but rather something powerful that can define us, brand us, and change us. It is a vessel of self-expression, and must be treated with respect, skill, and a serious splash of celebration.

Jools's philosophy is to take chances as a colorist by taking innovative color trends to the salon and creating them with a commercial twist. In Jools's words, "A Hairy Godmother if you will," her reputation is evident through her consistently booked-out schedule on the salon floor.

Not only is Jools an exceptional colorist, but she's also a phenomenal educator. As one of the keynote speakers at KAO's MBE program, she promotes successful business practices and a strong social media presence. Her international presence is evident, most recently with the creation of the GOLDWELL Color of the Year in Germany, her collaboration with the Goldwell Color Collective team and a key feature in Goldwell's Ride or Dye YouTube show!

Jools's vibrant and contagious personality has earned her recognition as a two-time finalist for the AHIA "Sole Operator" award. Her dynamic, energetic, and creative personality is an unstoppable force within our hair industry.

She began her career at just 14 and opened her first salon at 19. She has been refining her craft in prestigious locations like Sydney and L.A., where she trained with leading industry professionals.

Now 34 and a mother of three, Kirby is the founder of Pélo by Lago, a highly sought-after salon in Sydney, Kirby has built a reputation for delivering effortlessly natural hair that enhances beauty and confidence. Her salon’s reputation for excellence has earned her recognition from celebrity clients and high-end Australian publications.

Hailing from country Victoria, Chris is striving to take hairdressing to new heights, by sharing his deep love and passion with a new breed of stylist. Spending his time between managing WILLOMINA, creating content for brand partners, photo shoots and even teaching apprentices, Chris is hair obsessed and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

His soft and sexy approach to hair sees him dealing with celebrities and Sydney's elite on a regular basis, Chris is also a regular on the fashion week circuit both here and abroad.

Shane has judged for the 2018 Goldwell Global Zoom color awards, and in 2017 he was main stage presenter for Goldwell Global Zoom Barcelona. His patience and passion sees Shane supporting many industry events and coaching and mentoring young stylists to reach their true potential.

Shane's accolades include: Finalist Salon Team of the Year 2023 | 6x Australian Hairdresser of the Year | 4x Salon Team of the Year | Hall of Fame Recipient and Masters Award Recipient.

Since relocating to Australia, he has established himself as a creative force in the industry. William won the Hair Expo QLD Hairdresser of the Year in 2017 and the Australian fame team member in 2018 and has worked on prestigious shows at New York Fashion Week for brands like Zimmermann and Alice McCall. William’s signature style graces the pages of Vogue Portugal, Vogue Australia, Russh magazine, and other esteemed publications. Most recently, he was named the 2024 New South Wales Hairdresser of the Year, solidifying his reputation as one of Australia’s most innovative stylists. Beyond professional acclaim, William’s passion and dedication define him as a sought-after personality in the fashion and hair world.
