We are pleased to announce that the Kennedy Center’s 2016 LEAD^® and 2016 VSA Intersections: Arts and Special Education Conferences will take place at the Westin Convention Center, Pittsburgh Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA. The hotel is located in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District and is walking distance to several theaters, shops, restaurants, and art galleries.

All full conference sessions (Wednesday, August 3 to Friday, August 5) will take place at the Pittsburgh Westin. Please see the conference agenda for details.

AIR TRANSPORTATION

Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), located 19 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, is the closest airport to the hotel/conference venue. The Westin hotel is accessible by taxi, rental car or commercial shuttle service.

SHUTTLE SERVICE: Super Shuttle is available from the airport to the hotel for $24 one way and $46 round trip. It runs 24 hours a day and takes roughly 25 minutes door to door. 28X AIRPORT FLYER (PUBLIC BUS SERVICE): One-way fare to or from the airport is $3.75. Exact change is required when paying your fare. All vehicles on the 28X line are wheelchair accessible. Departs approximately every 30 minutes outside of Door 6, Baggage Claim. Closest stop to the hotel is the Liberty Avenue/7th Street stop.
